The treatment
What Swedish Relaxation actually is.
The classic. Long, unbroken strokes at a gentle to medium pressure, working the whole body in a single continuous rhythm rather than stopping to dig into individual knots.
If you have never booked a home massage before, book this one. It is the session that tells you what pressure you actually like, which areas you want more of next time, and how you want the room — lights, music, temperature, talking or silence.
Who books this
First-time clients, evening bookings before sleep, and anyone whose body is tired rather than injured.
Why people book it
What you should expect
to get out of it.
The classic full-body reset
Every area gets attention in one continuous rhythm instead of the session stopping at each knot.
The right first booking
It tells you what pressure you actually like, so the next session can be sharper about it.
Sleep, reliably
Gentle sustained work slows everything down; most evening clients are asleep within the hour.
Nothing to brace for
No deep work, no surprises — you can stop thinking for sixty minutes.

Afterwards
Getting the most
out of the hour.
What you do in the day after a session decides how long it holds. None of it is complicated.
- Drink water and let yourself be sleepy — that is the point
- Go straight to bed if you booked an evening session
- A warm shower in the morning rather than that night
Case notes
Three bookings,
three different problems.

-
First massage in four years
Nervous about the whole idea — a stranger in the flat, and no idea what to ask for. The therapist settled the pressure question in two minutes and then there was nothing left to decide.
-
Booked as a gift, kept for himself
Bought it for his wife and booked one for himself the same week. His summary: it is not dramatic, it is an hour where nothing is required of you, and that is the point.
-
Thought it was the boring option
Had written Swedish off as the treatment you book when you cannot decide. Asked for firmer pressure halfway through and got it. Books it every three weeks now.
Questions
Before you book.
Is Swedish too gentle to be worth it?
No. It works at a different job — circulation, nervous system, sleep — rather than one tight area. Most people book it more often than deep tissue.
Can the pressure be increased?
Yes, up to a firm medium. Beyond that you want the Signature Deep Tissue, which is built for it.
Which length should I book?
Sixty is enough for a full-body reset. Ninety if you want unhurried time on the back and scalp.
Can I book it late?
Yes — last booking is 01:00, seven days a week.
